Choue is the first web application that offers full online backgammon game play with features for playing a Chouette online with any number of players.
The primary concept of The Chouette Application is that you and your crew login into Choue simultaneously, join your Chouette at the same time (or you will join their Chouette),
and then you all play together. The Chouette Application presents a list of Chouettes accessible to join and request admittance to the group, not a list of players looking to play. Restating the online Chouette distinction to contrast against online backgammon:
The application is designed for a group of players that know each other. This group will join The Chouette Application simultaneously to play together in a specified Chouette session, usually while having a video call (Zoom, Google Meet) running on the side at the same time.
The Chouette Application models a cube for the captain and every team member and implements Chouette rules for independent cube action by each player.

In the screenshot above Eagle (the box) plays against Emu (captain) and Heron and Bluejay (crew members). On his turn Eagle got doubled by Bluejay and Emu and decided to take both cubes.
Supported features
See all currently active Chouettes on the server and click to join one of them.
Create your own Chouette to become the Chouette owner and administrator or join someone else's Chouette.

All players need to indicate roll or double on every turn. Crew are default in autoroll and can click on "don't roll" to run that off.
Delegate cube to a team member if you are stepping away from your device.
Once all team members have decided on their cube decision, the box decides on all cubes at once.
The box can double any number of players at once.
Shuffle at the beginning of the first game to determine the playing order: Box, captain, and crew.
Scoring at the end of each game, including a running score throughout the match.
Move and Cube analysis at the end of each game, and optionally move analysis during the game.

Click on the match log file to review an earlier position or to mark a position for review later.
Notifications overlaying the board during game play to prompt players about any needed action.
Chat functionality for player chats and system notifications.
